Silverwood Read 2 Ride
(Grades Preschool thru 6th Grade)
The Silverwood Read 2 Ride program encourages recreational reading in students from grades Pre K to 6th grade. The goal of the Read 2 Ride program is simple; incentivize students to become involved and excited about reading at an early age to promote the next generation of lifelong readers! Studies have shown that not long after children learn how to read, their time dedicated to reading declines rapidly. To encourage the upcoming generation, in our opinion, we provide the best incentive possible- a free ticket to Silverwood!
The Read 2 Ride program is comprised of two parts: The Reading Challenge and Activity Guide. To complete the Reading Challenge, participating students must read 10 hours within a specified time frame. Once they complete their reading hours they earn a free ticket to Silverwood! Please keep in mind that blackout dates on earned tickets do apply.
Rules:
- Only schools or homeschool co-ops are eligible to join.
- Each school or homeschool co-op must have a minimum of 15 Read 2 Ride participants.
